Responsibilities: As an IT Specialist, you will: Manage and maintain the company’s IT systems, networks, and applications, ensuring they function properly and securely; Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, clients, and providers, resolving IT issues promptly and efficiently; Collaborate with external providers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and security measures, while also managing relationships with vendors and service providers; Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance security and efficiency, in alignment with regulatory requirements; Monitor IT performance and security metrics, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities or risks; Stay up-to-date with IT trends and technologies, making recommendations for upgrades or enhancements to improve the company’s IT infrastructure; Train and educate employees on IT best practices and security awareness. Requirements: To be considered for the role, here are the skills we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Professional Course (CET) in one of those areas: Cybersecurity, Information Technology Systems or Networking; Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and applications; Familiarity with cloud computing principles and architectures is a plus; Awareness of the importance of security in IT operations; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
